In this solo performance, musician, DJ and Icelandic beatboxing champion Beatur tackles his personal story of growing up in an alcoholic party house in Reykjavik in the 90s. It is about raising oneself, about running from responsibility, the eternal search to fill the black hole, taking as many shortcuts as possible, about living with the disease of self-deception and about losing the ability to master one’s own life. This is the real story of Beatur.
