Artist talks

Jens Jeffrey Trinidad og Magnus Myhr

04/12/2020 - 14:30 - 15:00

A sofa, an armchair, half an hour, two performing artists. What are they talking about? At Showbox 2020, we launch our new video and podcast series; Artist talks. Two by two they meet with us in Kabelgata. We have put them together, some have met before, others meet for the first time, and what they both have in common is that they work with performing arts for a young audience.

Jens Jeffrey Trinidad is a choreographer and dancer. With roots in hip hop and house, he works both in the urban field and in contemporary dance. He started dancing at Dancing Youth in 1998, and has extensive experience from teaching and choreography. He has participated in several TV productions such as dancer and choreographer, been active in the battle scene and won several competitions. In 2015, he was appointed ambassador for Dance Days.

Magnus Myhr has worked professionally as a dancer, choreographer and actor since 2007. His own work springs from personal experiences, and he wants to create performances that invite the audience in and that can open up a broader understanding of gender and diversity. Magnus has extensive experience as a practitioner both in the project-based field and from institutions. He has held various positions and roles on boards and artistic councils in the field of performing arts.
