Mercy: The children’s bonfire

Six shows that actualize the reformation’s themes for children and adolescents have been developed and will be performed in churches throughout the country in the autumn of 2017. At Showbox it is possible to see two of these.

You are amazing. Yes, you guys! Because you have curiosity,
playfulness and creativity you can create something. You are young,
you can make a whole new story. The children’s bonfire is based on the church’s own environmental commitment and the urge for profound reformation in attitude and action – God’s creation is not for sale.

The Legend of the Children’s bonfire tells about the rulers’ council that decided that no one should take action that could harm the children’s life base for seven generations to come.

Starting with the legend, we take the young audience on a journey into the future, where the threatened covenant between man and creation is restored.

The performance calls on the voices that have not yet been heard. In dialogue with the young audience, can we inspire them to formulate their own new 95 theses?
