Making yourself or your own projects visible in the performing arts can be overwhelming, awkward and feel arbitrary. Few of us are trained in marketing and the little we can do has been created through the well-known trial and error method. If you recognize yourself, then read on.

This autumn, we are putting together a professional marketing menu that you can take with you on a dark winter night in your freelance life. A best-of, pick-and-mix program consisting of courses and seminars that will enable you to fix the good posts on SoMe, as well as give you insight into the secret algorithms your project needs to reach the right group of enthusiasts .

Wednesday 1.des

09:00 – 12:00 Crash course in social media for performing artists with Christine Kriegh.

Christine owns and runs her own company Krieg Kommunikasjon, where she works with consulting, courses and content production for social media. She has a long career in the industry, and in 2021 she was named Professional of the Year at Social Media Days.

Marketing has changed in the last decade, and today most of the marketing takes place via the internet and social media. If you want to stand out and make a name for yourself, it is therefore important to follow the digital turns. In this crash course you will get an introduction to social media, with a focus on Facebook and Instagram. Among other things, we will talk about; Why should you use social media? How do the algorithms work? What is good content? What opportunities do you have on the various channels?

When the course is over, you will be left with the answer to whether you need to be on all the different social media, when in the day it is best to post, and whether it is smart to spend money on promoting your posts.
