Rock me baby

Five grown men dance, sing and play catchy newly written rock songs in a new boundary-breaking and fun performance, and that for a very young audience group (0-5 years) with their parents or guardians.

Rock me Baby is a new dance-theatre-music production for the youngest children aged 0-5 by Øystein Elle /Capto Musicae and Karstein Solli Produksjoner. Solli and Elle have previously created several shows for young children that have been very well received, talked about and shown both nationally and internationally.

With a band on stage, the performance is buzzing with musical joy and style expressions from the world of rock. Adults and young children get to experience and take part in what art for the youngest can be. The performance takes place in a safe environment and, of course, completely within an acceptable decibel level for both young and old.

The colorful and fun “rock costumes” are made by the fashion and costume designer Kjell I. Nordstöm, well-known to most people after NRK’s hit show Maskorama, where he creates the spectacular characters. A hand-picked male ensemble with a solid dance, theater and music background invites young and old into a distinctive universe.
